I WANT TO PLAY
Whether you are 5 or 55, or whether you have played netball all your life or this is your first season, we welcome you to The Oaks Netball Club.
The Oaks Netball Club is a small but growing club where the emphasis is on providing an environment where enjoyment of our great sport is placed above all else. For players who wish to take their netball to greater heights, our club will support you every step of the way through the national player development pathways.
In 2023 our club has entered 16 teams into the Camden & District Netball Association winter competition from U8s through to the senior divisions, so no matter what age you are, or what your ability level is, there is a team for you at The Oaks Netball Club.
All club coaches are accredited through the Netball Australia National Coach Accreditation Framework and our club supports our volunteer coaches to continue to progress through this framework, which in turn ensures our players receive quality coaching that incorporates current best practice methods for both player development, as well as injury prevention and safety.
WHERE DOES THE CLUB PLAY & TRAIN?
Teams train locally at the Dudley Chesham Sports Ground netball courts, Burragorang Road, The Oaks.
Matches are played each Saturday at the state-of-the-art Narellan Sports Hub, Porrende Street, Narellan.
NETBALL FOR 5 - 9 YEAR OLDS
Woolworths NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for kids aged 5 to 9. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends.
Each participant receives their own pack which includes a netball and t-shirt.
Girls and boys aged 5 - 7 participate in a mid-week, game-based skills program which introduces the skills of netball in a fun, age appropriate way.
Girls and boys aged 8 - 9 train each week with their coach and participate in 'Saturday netball'. Matches are played under modified rules, and players are supported by their coach on court helping them to learn the game in a fun, supportive and non-competitive environment.
The Oaks Netball Club is a registered NetSetGo Centre and welcomes all girls and boys who would like to give netball a go!
